MUSIC

2020 will include the 20th-24th larger scale soundtracks including the 5th season of Netflix's Last Chance U, A stunning doc about Mountaineer Pasang Lhamu Sherpa Akita and an upcoming TV show about mental health.

While often making cinematic soundscapes going back to the earliest studio experiments, the first true soundtracks were completed in 2008 or so with an early job being a theatrical trailer for THX/Lucasfilm called Amazing Life created with Low in the Sky. The director from Amazing Life went on to create the film One Day on Earth which debuted at the United Nations (pictured above) and around the world on Earth Day, 2012. Since then, word of mouth has kept the bills paid via scores for hundreds of scenes, commercials and other make-music-for-this-thing type jobs.

Almost every piece of music is avaiable for licensing or as a starting point for new works. The PatternBased Catalog is a great place to listen to soundtrack work and other musical creations by Joseph Minadeo and collaborators.
