Music for Heartbeats. an info-art / Data Visualization piece by Siori Kitajima to make the heartbeats of animals visible and audible. Each animal in Heartbeats has a corresponding melody that plays to the speed of their hearts.
VCV ended up being the perfect tool for this job as all per-animal micro-patches, each with their own clock corresponding to the animals heartrate could be built in a single workspace. The computer can only handle a handful of patches at a time but modules can be disabled.
